There's loads of regular groups for young people and children at St John's. As well as the details listed below we have a variety of special children's services and events (see what's on).

We take young people to regular IXth Hour event at Newcastle City Hall , as well as camping to events like Harvest, NE1 and Spring Harvest. All our groups welcome newcomers. For further details contact Barry Unwin on 0191 483 3910

An open youth group , Mondays 7.00-9.00pm For 11+'s.

We meet at a number of locations:

- Christ Church Rectory in Jarrow,
- St Oswald's Vicarage, and
- at St John's Hall or church in Hebburn.

 The Puppet and Dance Group

Tuesdays 7.30-9.00pm at church to practice with the puppets for performances at the All Age Services and other events. Contact Gavin O'Doherty (0191) 4216284 for additional details.

Bobby Bear Toddler Group

Pre-schoolers love meeting Bobby Bear at 1:30-3pm in St John's Church Hall, on Thursdays, during school term time. Craft, stories, snacks and toys. For further details contact David Osman (0191) 4227505
